PLANTATION, Florida – Local news reports out of Plantation, Florida are reporting that pop superstar Rihanna was involved in a bar fight in Plantation late last night. One man who allegedly attacked Rihanna was arrested and is being held on assault charges. According to patrons in the bar at the time of the incident, two men who appeared to recognize Rihanna began to verbally attack her for no apparent reason. Rihanna then stood up and said something back to the men when one of the men lunged toward her. Other bar patrons immediately intervened and restrained the man until police arrived. Rihanna was not injured.

One of the bar patrons, Emily Cole had this to say about the incident, “It’s not very often that we get to see a big name celebrity in our city and it’s such a shame that some of the people here decide to give her such a terrible welcome. As much as it bothered me to see her treated that way it also made me proud to see how quickly other people came to her aid and end a situation that could’ve been a lot worse. The guy who attacked her got roughed up after what he did and it was well deserved. Rihanna seemed to laugh it off afterwards and actually had a lot of nice things to say about the people here. I hope she comes back sometime.”

NAPA, California – Numerous news outlets are reporting that a portion of the next Star Wars movie will be filmed just outside of Napa, California. The location in California will represent a previously unknown planet in the Star Wars universe.

Writer and director Rian Johnson is said to have personally chosen the location and will need the help of a large number of extras from Napa and the surrounding area. Reports claim that a big reason in choosing to film in California is that the state has recently been providing significant incentives to production companies that choose to film in their state.

“Well… we had a flat tire just as we were about to leave the city limits of Eugene and two, maybe three cars pulled over within five minutes to help us with it.
