In a radio interview over the weekend Hollywood actor, Ryan Gosling claimed that Hampton, Virginia has the most beautiful women in the world. Why Hampton? As Ryan explained it:

“I knew a girl from Hampton, Virginia and I visited her and her family in Hampton years ago and I thought at the time that maybe she was just an exception but she wasn’t. And I’m not saying that the women there are necessarily more physically beautiful than other women in other places but, from my experience in Hampton, the women there have the entire package, ya know? OREM, Utah – Numerous news outlets are reporting that a portion of the next Star Wars movie will be filmed just outside of Orem, Utah. The location in Utah will represent a previously unknown planet in the Star Wars universe.

Writer and director Rian Johnson is said to have personally chosen the location and will need the help of a large number of extras from Orem and the surrounding area. Reports claim that a big reason in choosing to film in Utah is that the state has recently been providing significant incentives to production companies that choose to film in their state.

No other details have been provided so far except that filming is set to begin sometime next year.

CORVALLIS, Oregon – Hollywood actor Matt Damon passed through Corvallis, Oregon recently and apparently was quite impressed with the residents there. In an interview this week Damon said:

“Well, we had a flat tire just as we were about to leave the city limits of Corvallis and two, maybe three cars pulled over within five minutes to help us with it. And no, they had no idea who I was before they pulled over. They were very helpful and very friendly. I gotta say, I was really impressed with the people of Corvallis, Oregon! LYNN, Massachusetts – A new Harry Potter spin-off film tentatively entitled “Quidditch Through the Ages,” based on J.K. Rowling’s spin-off novel of the same name is reportedly in the early stages of pre-production and a significant portion of it will be filmed in the Lynn, Massachusetts area. Details of the film are understandably tight-lipped at this point but insider sources claim that it centers around the Quidditch World Cup which will take place in Lynn and will likely need a large number of extras from the local area.

Quidditch, a sport popular among wizards and witches, was a key element of the novels but was significantly cut from the Harry Potter films.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are reprising their roles for the upcoming film as are a number of others from the Harry Potter series. “Quidditch Through the Ages” will be the next spin-off after 2016’s “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” but it will be the first spin-off to have much of the original cast.

COQUITLAM, British Columbia – The incredibly popular Nicholas Sparks film ‘The Notebook’ from 2004 is returning with a sequel tentatively entitled ‘The Notebook 2’ and will be filmed in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Nick Cassavetes is returning as director and Nicholas Sparks has a finished screenplay in hand as filming is set to begin this summer. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are returning as their characters Noah and Allie.

The sequel takes place shortly after their wedding when they move to Coquitlam for a period of time before eventually returning to Seabrook. No other details of the plot were provided as of now. Fans of the film have been hoping for a sequel for many years and Sparks and Cassavetes appear now to be eager to capitalize on that excitement. No date has been set yet for the film but sources claim that filming will be wrapped up by the end of the year.
