“I’m just tired of the L.A. lifestyle and I feel like, at this point in my life, I’d rather just live in a place full of real, genuine people. I’ve been to Rio Rancho, New Mexico a couple of times over the years and the people there are real… they’re genuine, and yeah every community has its problems but the people there are good, decent people and they care about their community. Those are the things I find most important in deciding where to live,” Pink told the magazine.

In a radio interview over the weekend country music star, Blake Shelton claimed that Reno, Nevada has the most beautiful women in the world. Why Reno? As Blake explained it:

“I knew a girl from Reno, Nevada and I visited her and her family in Reno years ago and I thought at the time that maybe she was just an exception but she wasn’t. And I’m not saying that the women there are necessarily more physically beautiful than other women in other places but, from my experience in Reno, the women there have the entire package, ya know? They’re not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well. The girl I knew from Reno was sweet, caring, and beautiful all-around and I found that to be the case for a lot of women there.”

DOWNERS GROVE, Illinois – The incredibly popular Nicholas Sparks film ‘The Notebook’ from 2004 is returning with a sequel tentatively entitled ‘The Notebook 2’ and will be filmed in Downers Grove, Illinois. Nick Cassavetes is returning as director and Nicholas Sparks has a finished screenplay in hand as filming is set to begin this summer. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are returning as their characters Noah and Allie.

The sequel takes place shortly after their wedding when they move to Downers Grove for a period of time before eventually returning to Seabrook. No other details of the plot were provided as of now. Fans of the film have been hoping for a sequel for many years and Sparks and Cassavetes appear now to be eager to capitalize on that excitement. No date has been set yet for the film but sources claim that filming will be wrapped up by the end of the year.

HUNTINGTON, West Virginia – It’s been over 20 years since Father of the Bride II was released in theaters and today director Charles Shyer confirmed in an interview that the third installment of the critically acclaimed franchise would begin filming early next year in Huntington, West Virginia. Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and most of the cast of the sequel have signed on though the magazine was told that Martin Short has not been confirmed and negotiations with the actor are still underway. It appears that the film will go on with or without him though insiders are suggesting that he’s very likely to join the cast.

Very few details of the plot have been released as of yet except that it will center around Megan, the second daughter of George and Nina Banks, who has decided to get married while in college. Mr. Shyer has hinted that this will be the final film in the franchise.

JUPITER, Florida – Hollywood actor Vin Diesel passed through Jupiter, Florida recently and apparently was quite impressed with the residents there. In an interview this week Diesel said:

“Well, we had a flat tire just as we were about to leave the city limits of Jupiter and two, maybe three cars pulled over within five minutes to help us with it. And no, they had no idea who I was before they pulled over. They were very helpful and very friendly. I gotta say, I was really impressed with the people of Jupiter, Florida! That would’ve never happened in L.A.!”

Vin’s vehicle was back on the road within a short period of time. What a great testament to the residents of Jupiter!

BEDFORD, Texas – Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage passed through Bedford, Texas recently and apparently was quite impressed with the residents there. In an interview this week Cage said:

“Well, we had a flat tire just as we were about to leave the city limits of Bedford and two, maybe three cars pulled over within five minutes to help us with it. And no, they had no idea who I was before they pulled over. They were very helpful and very friendly. I gotta say, I was really impressed with the people of Bedford, Texas! That would’ve never happened in L.A.!”

Nicolas’s vehicle was back on the road within a short period of time. What a great testament to the residents of Bedford!

CHEYENNE, Wyoming – Numerous news outlets are reporting that a portion of the next Star Wars movie will be filmed just outside of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The location in Wyoming will represent a previously unknown planet in the Star Wars universe.

Writer and director Rian Johnson is said to have personally chosen the location and will need the help of a large number of extras from Cheyenne and the surrounding area. Reports claim that a big reason in choosing to film in Wyoming is that the state has recently been providing significant incentives to production companies that choose to film in their state.

No other details have been provided so far except that filming is set to begin sometime next year.
