VISTA, California – Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman passed through Vista, California recently and apparently was quite impressed with the residents there. In an interview this week Freeman said:

“Well, we had a flat tire just as we were about to leave the city limits of Vista and two, maybe three cars pulled over within five minutes to help us with it. And no, they had no idea who I was before they pulled over. They were very helpful and very friendly. I gotta say, I was really impressed with the people of Vista, California! That would’ve never happened in L.A.!”

Morgan’s vehicle was back on the road within a short period of time. What a great testament to the residents of Vista!

PUEBLO, Colorado – Numerous news outlets are reporting that a portion of the next Star Wars movie will be filmed just outside of Pueblo, Colorado. The location in Colorado will represent a previously unknown planet in the Star Wars universe.

Writer and director Rian Johnson is said to have personally chosen the location and will need the help of a large number of extras from Pueblo and the surrounding area. Reports claim that a big reason in choosing to film in Colorado is that the state has recently been providing significant incentives to production companies that choose to film in their state.

No other details have been provided so far except that filming is set to begin sometime next year.

ELGIN, Illinois – The long awaited sequel to the 2008 film, Step Brothers, is finally on its way. Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are once again collaborating on a script that should be finished this spring. All of the original cast including Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Richard Jenkins, Mary Steenburgen, and others are set to return.

Few details concerning the plot have been released but insider sources are claiming that it involves the two step brothers, both now with menial jobs, living in an apartment together in Elgin, Illinois. Dale finds out that he has accidentally impregnated a young woman who wants nothing to do with the baby after it is born leaving Dale and Brennan to raise the baby themselves.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – It’s been over 20 years since Father of the Bride II was released in theaters and today director Charles Shyer confirmed in an interview that the third installment of the critically acclaimed franchise would begin filming early next year in Birmingham, Alabama. Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and most of the cast of the sequel have signed on though the magazine was told that Martin Short has not been confirmed and negotiations with the actor are still underway. It appears that the film will go on with or without him though insiders are suggesting that he’s very likely to join the cast.

Very few details of the plot have been released as of yet except that it will center around Megan, the second daughter of George and Nina Banks, who has decided to get married while in college. Mr. Shyer has hinted that this will be the final film in the franchise.
